Te Hiku Manaiakalani Outreach Third Film Festival 2022

Our theme for the movies this year was “Northland History” The movies have been played on the big screen at the Te Ahu Cinema in Kaitaia on Wednesday 14 September 2022. This is one of the lucky movies to be chosen from our school. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of this movie. Positive Relationships

 In kiwi can we have been learning about positive relationships. Here are some of the things we did to practise positive relationships.

-include others in our games

Positive relationships are important because they help us make good friendships. 

Matariki Inspired Animations

 We have been reading the story of "The Seven Fish of Matariki". We were retelling the story through creating an animation using Google Slides. Have a look at these amazing animations created by the tamariki of Kotare.

 Because we loved learning about Romero Britto and his beautiful pop art, we thought we would learn how to make our very own digital pop art. Sticking to cats, the students in Kotare created these wonderful Digital Ca Pop Art.
